Apple season is coming! 🍎
And to harvest the fruit, it’s critical to put in the work.
Five years ago, I defined my core values at Columbia University in the City of New York in a session called “Reverse Engineering Your Career From Your Passion.
Today, my values remain the same – Candor, Curiosity, and Collaboration. But there is so much more to it.
I am starting five classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Sacred Heart University this week. I am teaching undergrads’ first class, graduates’ last class, and a few classes in between!
And in every class, we start with core values and then use the results to either connect with a passion/ purpose or disconnect from something that doesn’t align with a student’s values.
I’m very excited to see what my students come up with — it always exceeds my expectations!
