Make the decision your team keeps circling.

When priorities compete, ownership is unclear, or a cross-functional initiative stalls, more discussion can leave the same choice unresolved. I help leaders put the tradeoffs on the table and decide what happens next.

When this fits

The choice is known. The commitment is missing.

You may need to choose which customer problem takes priority, who owns a promise that spans departments, or what work to stop so an initiative can move. The people involved have different evidence, incentives, and authority. Leadership decision-making needs those differences stated plainly.

If the team still does not understand what is causing the result, start by clarifying the problem ↗. This session fits when the question is ready to be decided.

The working session

Surface the disagreement. Name the owner.

Prepare around the decision. We agree on the question, who has authority to decide, who must carry the work, and what evidence each person needs.
Work through the tradeoffs. I facilitate a candid discussion of competing accounts and priorities, including what each option would require or displace.
Record the commitment. We name the outcome, decision rights, owners, sequence, and first review point. If a decision cannot yet be made, we specify the missing evidence and who will get it.

Your leaders make the decision. My role is to make the disagreement discussable and help the group leave with a course it can actually carry.

After the room

A decision needs a path into the work.

The session produces an agreed business outcome, clear roles and decision rights, and a sequenced ownership plan. We agree on preparation, participants, timing, and fee before the session.

Some decisions need support beyond that plan. I do not treat a recommendation alone as proof that the work changed.
